The mission statement of Wilderness Paradise Educational and Zoological Park, Inc. is to provide a caring environment for the well-being of the animals, as well as educating the public about the value animals provide, their needs, as well as the importance of wildlife habitat conservation.
Our goals and purpose are to provide a permanent sanctuary for exotic animals that have been abandoned, abused, neglected, previously owned by people who are unable to provide for their well being. WPEZP also educates the public through tours, school programs, support for conservation through education programs, and public appearances about the worth, intelligence, and perceptiveness of these animals so that their future, as an important part of our world is insured. We are committed to promoting conservation through education as well as other avenues. Our major goal is to give the animals the best quality of life we can give them in captivity. We will also have emotional enrichment programs which deals with the well-being of each individual animal.
As an educational park our primary focus is to enlighten the public by providing facts about why exotic animals do not always make good pets for all people, and facts pertaining to their emotional needs, habitat needs, and the importance of habitat conservation, not just bare essentials of a good diet and veterinarian care.
